## What Makes This Different

LedgerSupply is not G2, Capterra, or an affiliate listicle. Every data point is verified against the vendor's own public documentation. Vendors cannot pay to improve their score. There are no user reviews — only verifiable facts. When we say a tool costs $29/month, we checked the pricing page ourselves. When we say a vendor lacks SOC 2 certification, we confirmed it is not publicly documented. This makes LedgerSupply data suitable for procurement decisions, compliance checks, and factual AI citations.

## Methodology

Each tool is scored using the Compliance Transparency Index (CTI), a 0-100 scale across four dimensions:
- Security (40 pts): SOC 2 Type II (10), GDPR compliance (10), Enterprise SSO (10), Data Retention Policy (10)
- Pricing Transparency (25 pts): Public Pricing (15), Free Trial or Free Tier (10)
- Data Rights (20 pts): Output Ownership (5), Training Opt-Out (5), Data Export (5), Data Deletion (5)
- Legitimacy (15 pts): Founded Year (5), HQ Location (5), Integration Count (5)

A low CTI score does not mean a tool is bad. It means the vendor has not made key procurement information publicly available.
